The electricity and water account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on April unless I pay $650. I have never been late before a reduction in hours. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $185 first, which I don't have. I live with a disabled brother, and going through winter without electricity and water isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $650 goes: • Heating arrears: $320 • Reconnection and late fees: $140 • Down payment on a payment plan: $190 I hope life is good to you.

  • Hope things get better soon. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. God bless

    • Thanks for sharing this, Ethan. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Butwal.
