The gas account is 4 months behind. Brielle received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on July unless $750 is paid. She had never been late before April's medical emergency. Brielle called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $200 first, which isn't available. The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through winter without gas isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature. Brielle is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Brielle's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
