Don't let Basma's family go through the cold months without electricity and water
Basma is behind on electricity and water bills after losing my job in August and needs $550 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. Basma received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $550 is paid. She had never been late before losing my job in August.
Basma called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $145 first, which isn't available.
The household includes two young children, and going through the cold months without electricity and water isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Basma is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
