Don't let Álvaro's family go through winter without heating

The heating account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $250. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $60 first, which I don't have. I live with an elderly mother, and going through winter without heating isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
