Dinusha was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August. The oncology team at Galle Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Dinusha is 53, worked as a shop owner until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Galle Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
