Dignity in old age: caring for Zoya
Help Zoya stay in her own home with six months of part-time care.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 79. After a heart attack Zoya can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Zoya desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Zoya worked all of her life as a shopkeeper, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $900 goes:
• Part-time carer (six months): $620
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $110
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $170
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
