Dignity in old age: caring for Yubraj
Yubraj can't afford the care He needs after a diagnosis of dementia; we're asking for $550.

I'm caring for my father, who's 92. After a diagnosis of dementia Yubraj can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Yubraj desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Yubraj worked all of his life as a nurse, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $550 goes:
• Part-time carer (six months): $340
• Medication and prescriptions: $75
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $50
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $85
