Dignity in old age: caring for Young-ja
Help Young-ja stay in her own home with four months of part-time care.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 75. After a heart attack Young-ja can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Young-ja desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Young-ja worked all of her life as a carpenter, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $1,750
• Medication and prescriptions: $280
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $290
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $280

You're not alone, Jung-ho. Wishing Young-ja a smooth procedure and a full recovery. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Seoul.
