Dignity in old age: caring for Tanvir
Tanvir can't afford the care He needs after a diagnosis of dementia; we're asking for $550.

I'm caring for me, who's 88. After a diagnosis of dementia Tanvir can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Tanvir desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Tanvir worked all of his life as a nurse, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $550 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $65
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $30
• Part-time carer (three months): $455
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
