Dignity in old age: caring for Sandeep
Sandeep can't afford the care He needs after a diagnosis of dementia; we're asking for $700.

I'm caring for me, who's 76. After a diagnosis of dementia Sandeep can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Sandeep desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Sandeep worked all of his life as a factory worker, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $700 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $510
• Medication and prescriptions: $55
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $70
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $65
Thanks for being kind about this.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Hubballi
