Dignity in old age: caring for Nonso
Help Nonso stay in his own home with eight months of part-time care.

I'm caring for me, who's 82. After a diagnosis of dementia Nonso can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Nonso desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Nonso worked all of his life as a shopkeeper, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $350 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $220
• Medication and prescriptions: $60
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $40
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $30
Glad we found this place.
