Dignity in old age: caring for Neil
Neil can't afford the care He needs after the death of his spouse; we're asking for $250.

I'm caring for my father, who's 84. After the death of his spouse Neil can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Neil desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Neil worked all of his life as a bus driver, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $250 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $85
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $50
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $115
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
