Dignity in old age: caring for Naveed
Naveed, 81, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $200 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 81. After a stroke last July Naveed can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Naveed desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Naveed worked all of his life as a farmer, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $200 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $45
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $40
• Medication and prescriptions: $115
With deep gratitude,
Naveed

rooting for you, Naveed. Hope you get there. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless.
Thinking of you and your family, Naveed. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Nagpur this morning
