I'm caring for my mother, who's 75. After a heart attack Jasmine can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Jasmine desperately wants to stay at home. I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer. Jasmine worked all of her life as a farmer, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies. Where the $850 goes: • Part-time carer (eight months): $570 • Medication and prescriptions: $105 • Hospital bed and mattress rental: $55 • Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $120 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Juan
