I'm caring for me, who's 84. After the death of his spouse Flávio can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Flávio desperately wants to stay at home. I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer. Flávio worked all of his life as a seamstress, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies. Where the $1,750 goes: • Part-time carer (six months): $1,250 • Medication and prescriptions: $240 • Hospital bed and mattress rental: $95 • Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $165 Thank you so much.
