I'm caring for me, who's 76. After a stroke last September Fabrice can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Fabrice desperately wants to stay at home. I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer. Fabrice worked all of his life as a farmer, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies. Where the $4,650 goes: • Part-time carer (six months): $3,650 • Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $310 • Medication and prescriptions: $690 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
