Dignity in old age: caring for Crystal
Crystal cannot afford the care She needs after the death of her spouse; we are asking for $5,650.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 75. After the death of her spouse Crystal can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Crystal desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Crystal worked all of her life as a farmer, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $5,650 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $360
• Medication and prescriptions: $700
• Part-time carer (three months): $4,590

Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Leicester!
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about mobility aids and bathroom adaptations, advice is welcome too.
Wishing you peace. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Auckland
Thinking of you and your family, Liam. Shared it with a few friends. We're a small family in Half-Way Tree but we're thinking of you. Take care
