Dignity in old age: caring for Chinmay
Chinmay, 75, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $800 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 75. After a heart attack Chinmay can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Chinmay desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Chinmay worked all of his life as a carpenter, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
