Dignity in old age: caring for Andi
Help Andi stay in his own home with six months of part-time care.

I'm caring for me, who's 78. After a diagnosis of dementia Andi can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Andi desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Andi worked all of his life as a factory worker, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $700 goes:
• Part-time carer (six months): $510
• Medication and prescriptions: $125
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $35
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $30
Thank you for reading my story.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Andi?
This could happen to any of us. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Birmingham.
