Dignity in old age: caring for Anand
Anand, 85, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $700 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 85. After the death of his spouse Anand can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Anand desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Anand worked all of his life as a farmer, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
