Diana can't leave home - help build a ramp
Diana uses a wheelchair and cannot leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.
🇺🇦 Kharkiv, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine1,045 views
Diana has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Diana can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Diana's family will cook lunch for the team.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Hope it all works out. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 9 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
