Delilah's hip replacement surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a torn ligament that needs reconstruction, Delilah was cleared for hip replacement surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Delilah was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in August. The surgeon at Manchester Community Hospital recommended hip replacement surgery, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,250, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $2,450 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Manchester Community Hospital since August. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without hip replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,250 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Delilah struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Delilah won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Post-operative medication: $125
• Physiotherapy sessions: $470
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $1,650
• Travel and lodging for the family: $205
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
