Deepak's stomach cancer treatment fund

Deepak was diagnosed with stomach cancer in May. The oncology team at Phoenix Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Deepak is 39, worked as a farmer until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Phoenix Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
