Dayo's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Dayo won a place at Abuja Boys' High School but the family cannot afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in the first year of senior school at Abuja Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $160, which is more than we have.
I love mathematics and want to become a marine biologist. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $160 goes:
• Laptop: $105
• School uniform and shoes: $30
• Textbooks and workbooks: $20
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
Glad we found this place.

Sending strength, Dayo. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Thinking of Abuja.
