Davi's stomach cancer treatment fund
Davi is facing stomach cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Davi was diagnosed with stomach cancer in June. The oncology team at São Paulo Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Davi is 24, worked as a construction supervisor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to São Paulo Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $2,500 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $470
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,250
• Transport to São Paulo Cancer Centre: $360
• Scans and lab work: $420
