Davi's a rare sarcoma treatment fund
Davi is facing a rare sarcoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Davi was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in August. The oncology team at Pelotas Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Davi is 38, worked as a farmer until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Pelotas Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,000
• Scans and lab work: $350
• Transport to Pelotas Cancer Centre: $175
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $140
• Household costs while unable to work: $535
