Danylo was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in March. The surgeon at Moscow General Hospital recommended a partial thyroidectomy, and He is scheduled for May. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,350, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $2,500 short.
my father has been in and out of Moscow General Hospital since March. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without a partial thyroidectomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,350 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Danylo struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Danylo won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
