Danish was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in May. The surgeon at Abbottabad University Hospital recommended palate reconstruction surgery, and He is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $900, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $450 short.
my son has been in and out of Abbottabad University Hospital since May. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without palate reconstruction surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $900 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Danish struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Danish won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
