Daniel needs a cochlear implant processor upgrade - help us make it happen
A cochlear implant processor upgrade would give Daniel independence - we're $500 away.
🇳🇬 Nigeria657 views
Daniel lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at Lagos General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $500.
His current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Daniel could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $500 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $35
• Fitting and training sessions: $50
• cochlear implant processor upgrade: $415
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
