Daisy is my German shepherd of nine years. On 26 July we rushed to Leeds Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,350.
They have stabilized Daisy, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Daisy is more than a pet - Daisy is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $210 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Leeds Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Daisy's recovery.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $300
• Emergency surgery: $830
• Medication and follow-up visits: $220
