A first-generation student, Dagmawit needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an electrical engineering diploma.

Dagmawit is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Jimma Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $200.
The registrar has said Dagmawit can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Dagmawit has a 3.6 average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Dagmawit would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Dagmawit isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Jimma Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $200 goes:
• Final term tuition: $145
• Exam and lab fees: $10
• Textbooks and materials: $45
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
