Supporting Craig through thyroid cancer: medication, transport to the Stellenbosch Oncology Institute, and living costs while He can't work.

Craig was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in January. The oncology team at the Stellenbosch Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Craig is 55, worked as a bakery worker until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Stellenbosch Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,900 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,150
• Scans and lab work: $220
• Transport to the Stellenbosch Oncology Institute: $155
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $115
• Household costs while unable to work: $260
