After gallstones with repeated infections, Courtney was cleared for a partial thyroidectomy, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Courtney was diagnosed with gallstones with repeated infections in August. The surgeon at Nashville Community Hospital recommended a partial thyroidectomy, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $11,500, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $5,700 short.
my sister has been in and out of Nashville Community Hospital since August. The doctors say gallstones with repeated infections will get worse without a partial thyroidectomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $11,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Courtney struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Courtney won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
