Could you share an hour a week with Siti?
Siti lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Siti, who's 83. Siti lives alone in Jakarta, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away.
Siti loves knitting, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Thursday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
I hope life is good to you.

Hope the doctors have good news. My neighbor in Madrid donated after I showed her your page.
Keep going, Kirana. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Bordeaux.
sending love, Kirana. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
Keep going. Hope the doctors have good news. Put this on a community board in Pittsburgh this morning. All the best
Hope things get better soon. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Houston
Thanks for sharing this. This could happen to any of us. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care.
look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
hang in there, Kirana. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Jakarta
You're not alone, Kirana. Get well soon
Stay strong, Kirana. Looking forward to the next update. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Augsburg.
