Could you share an hour a week with Nneka?

An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Nneka is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Nneka, who's 91. Nneka lives alone in Ikeja, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives 307 kilometers away. Nneka loves local history, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Sunday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
