Could you share an hour a week with Long?
An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Long is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Long, who's 74. Long lives alone in Nha Trang, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives several hours away.
Long loves gardening, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Thursday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Rooting for you, Giang. This could happen to any of us. Take care
Hope it all works out. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Nizamabad.
Wishing you the best, Giang. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
Stay strong. Wishing Long a smooth procedure and a full recovery. God bless!
