Could you share an hour a week with Arif?
An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Arif is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Arif, who's 76. Arif lives alone in Dhaka, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives 842 kilometers away.
Arif loves knitting, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Sunday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Wishing you peace. Wishing Arif a smooth procedure and a full recovery. After 19 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings
