Could you share an hour a week with Andile?
Looking for a friendly person in East London to visit Andile once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Andile, who's 91. Andile lives alone in East London, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives several hours away.
Andile loves baking, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Sunday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Glad we found this place.

So sorry you're going through this. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I have a 13 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
