Looking for a friendly person in Gulu to visit Akoth once a week.

Gulu
I'm writing for my neighbor Akoth, who's 86. Akoth lives alone in Gulu, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away. Akoth loves opera, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Monday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
