Looking for a friendly person in Çankaya to visit Ahmet once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Ahmet, who's 77. Ahmet lives alone in Çankaya, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives 407 kilometers away.
Ahmet loves gardening, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Friday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
