Córdoba flood relief - the Eastgate district
After the flood, families in the Eastgate district need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The flood hit the Eastgate district on 11 September. My home was one of 90 damaged, and 11 families are still in temporary shelter at a mosque and church hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Tools and labor for repairs: $220
• Food parcels for displaced families: $520
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $340
• Roofing sheets and timber: $870
Every share and every dollar helps.

So sorry you're going through this, Arturo. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I have a 8 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
Good luck, Arturo. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. I hope October is when things finally get easier.
