Cooper's kidney cancer treatment fund

Cooper is facing kidney cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Cooper was diagnosed with kidney cancer in May. The oncology team at the Buffalo Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Cooper is 34, worked as a shop owner until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Buffalo Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $6,050 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,300 • Transport to the Buffalo Oncology Institute: $890 • Scans and lab work: $1,250 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $610 Thanks for reading all this. - Ariana
