Cooper's a craniotomy can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled a craniotomy in November is out of reach without help covering $1,450 of the cost.

In August I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. My surgeon at Austin Regional Medical Center recommended a craniotomy, and I have been placed on the schedule for November. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $2,050, and after what the public health scheme will pay, I'm still $1,450 short.
Doctors at Austin Regional Medical Center told me a benign brain tumor will get worse without a craniotomy. I work as a restaurant cook, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $2,050 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a restaurant cook have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
The recovery period is expected to take about 12 weeks. I'll not be able to climb stairs during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Travel and lodging for the family: $520
• Physiotherapy sessions: $510
• Post-operative medication: $420
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope things get better soon, Cooper. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Radom.
stay strong, Cooper. Get well soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
