Consuelo's acute lymphoblastic leukemia treatment fund
Supporting Consuelo through acute lymphoblastic leukemia: medication, transport to the Fresno Oncology Institute, and living costs while She can't work.
Anywhere in the world253 views
Consuelo was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in March. The oncology team at the Fresno Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Consuelo is 26, worked as a hairdresser until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Fresno Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $6,950 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $680
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,750
• Transport to the Fresno Oncology Institute: $520
Glad we found this place.

Sending love, Alejandro. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. It's not much but it's yours
Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Fresno
praying for you, Alejandro. Hope the doctors have good news. After 15 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
Hope things get better soon. Shared it with a few friends. Greetings from Addis Ababa
