Companionship wanted: Marcos's baking and a cup of tea

Marcos lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

Ciudad de México
I'm writing for my neighbor Marcos, who's 75. Marcos lives alone in Ciudad de México, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away. Marcos loves baking, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Sunday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
