Companionship wanted: Francis's old films and a cup of tea

Looking for a friendly person in Quezon City to visit Francis once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Francis, who's 77. Francis lives alone in Quezon City, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives several hours away. Francis loves old films, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Tuesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
