Companionship wanted: Brooklyn's cricket and a cup of tea

I'm writing for my neighbor Brooklyn, who's 82. Brooklyn lives alone in Birmingham, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away. Brooklyn loves cricket, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Tuesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
