Comfort needs a pair of hearing aids - help us make it happen
A pair of hearing aids would give Comfort independence - we're $50 away.
🇳🇬 Lagos, Nigeria506 views
Comfort lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Lagos Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $50.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Comfort could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $50 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $30
• Delivery and set-up: $15
• Fitting and training sessions: $5

I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. After 20 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything
