Coco is my senior cat of two years. On 18 August we rushed to Bhaktapur Veterinary Centre with severe tick fever. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $350. They have stabilized Coco, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Coco is more than a pet - Coco is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $20 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Bhaktapur Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Coco's recovery. Where the $350 goes: • Emergency surgery: $250 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $55 • Medication and follow-up visits: $15 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $30 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Thank you. If you're in Bhaktapur I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great.

    • Hope things get better soon, Tek. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Bakersfield donated after I showed her your page.

      • rooting for you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
