Cluj-Napoca storm relief - the Eastgate district
Neighbors in the Eastgate district are rebuilding after the storm; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The storm hit the Eastgate district on 27 August. My home was one of 75 damaged, and 12 families are still in temporary shelter at the sports club.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $1,300
• Clean water and purification supplies: $400
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $280
• Food parcels for displaced families: $300
• Tools and labor for repairs: $420
Thank you for reading my story.

Wishing you the best, Daniel. Shared this with my family. Sent it to 30 people at work. All the best.
Sending good thoughts, Daniel. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. I hope November is when things finally get easier
so sorry you're going through this, Daniel. Your post was clear and honest. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best.
